The aim of common project of 1.SNSC, PDCS a PANET was sparkling and facilitation of expert discussions and public discourse, collection of suggestions/needs from practitioners. The project also created argumentation base for advocating by elaborating socio-economical cost-benefit analysis of volunteering. Legal experts and legislators had ambition to work on formulating a possible draft of an act on volunteering based on engagement of relevant stakeholders.
PANET in cooperation with PDCS, C.A.R.D.O. and 1.SNSC co-organised three regional debates with practitioners in volunteering and its possible legal framework (Košice, Banská Bystrica a Bratislava). In cooperation with experts we worked on Analysis of Volunteering in Slovakia.
The project was supported by the Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe. The publication Volunteering and Legal Framework was supported by the Open Society Foundation Bratislava.
